Affordable has been my insurance broker for a number of years now. Their staff did not process my claim and my request to cancel my plan correctly, so I reported them to the insurance authorities of Oregon, now they will not stop harassing me with calls trying to fix the issue. They out source their agents and now I’m getting random calls from out of state numbers everyday. At the most inconvenient times, about this issue. I would 100% not recommend this company for rental insurance. And here is why. I had a water damage problem at my old rental. So I contacted them, and I submitted all information their website requested. I attempted to call their adjuster multiple times, but due to time zone differences he never answered. The adjuster then closed my claim without notice. I gave them the proper amount of time set my the state and then attempted to contact safeco directly about the matter, simply asking “what is happening”. Just to be told my claim was closed (without written notice). During this time I had to move since nothing was being done about the water damage and mold had formed in the rental. So I told Skye Sinclair to cancel my plan’s renewal. She never did and then proceeded to blame another office agent. This office and company are not being managed properly, and they will just keep passing the issue on to someone else instead of accepting fault. Do yourself a favor and stay far away from them.
